She has owned this business for 15 years and brings in fabric from Congo, DRC, Senegal and other African countries. She is also a lot cheaper than other shops around her. The choices in her store are endless. The fashion district has over 100 shops in this area, making it the largest of its kind on the continent . At 109 the fashion wholesaler you can buy any sewing item needed . Da gama textiles is the only producer of Shweshwe worldwide. My hide away this weekend was at Shabani Cottage , where we experienced the serenity of the natural beauty of the area, the exhilarating sights and sounds of the animals and at the same time enjoyed cuisine prepared by our private chef that will tantalize anyone’s taste buds.
