From the welcome at reception where a run down is given at an efficient check in to the complimentary shuttle drive every hour to Sandton City. Our driver was friendly and polite and explained the time and location he would be collecting us again.

The decor of the 273 guest rooms is simple, modern and clean. With splashes of bright colour around the hotel grounds one can’t help but feel upbeat and happy. The superior twin room offers a splendid city view with all the comforts of a large bath, shower and ample room space. My spoil in the room was the coffee machine , I love waking up to a good cup of coffee in the morning.

There is a decadent, cosy atmosphere in the bar area, with the red lighting it makes it feel warm and inviting and the perfect way to meet other guests. The bustle in the foyer area is definitely the hub of the hotel.

Buffet breakfast is filling and caters for all types. From the fruits, cereals, meats, cheeses, omelettes, pastries, teas, coffees and juices you are going to have a good filling start to you day. The complimentary newspapers lying on the table as you enter the restaurant keep you up to date with current affairs.

The Sandton hotel has 4 boardrooms and 2 conference rooms and offers high speed complimentary wifi through out the hotel. It is located 1,5km from the Gautrain station making is easily accessible for anyone coming on the train from the airport or any other connections on the Gautrain route. Those driving a car will find the parking easy to access will ample parking bays underground.
