What a gem of a discovery, a piece of Greece in Bedfordview. Opened in September 2017 its still relatively new on the restaurant guide but really worth a pop in.
If you want to go to Mykonos, or Ibiza or any other exotic island take a drive to this beautiful spot.
With the influence of the blue and white , and the multiple evil eyes that hand on white branched tree stems as you enter you are going to love it. Ideal for moms morning out because they have an indoor and outdoor playground, a lunch, a weekend outing or a special function they cater for all.
When you take a step outside and spot the beautiful white pool with its disco ball hanging over the centre, and pool beanies you immediately think “ Mama Mia “ There is a bar that stretches the length of the pool and the blue and white theme has been carried through out. Bring your sun glasses because when you relax in one of the cabana beds surrounding the pool, the glare is intense but you will be so relaxed you wont want to leave.
The menu is Greek, with all your favourites from Yiros, the English style breakfasts and a must would be the Baklava. The vibe of this venue makes one feel so relaxed you genuinely feel like you have slipped away for a holiday. The waiters and waitresses keep their distance just enough to allow you to relax and soak in the sunshine. All thats missing is the salty sea breeze.
When you leave you can buy some snacks to take home or pop into the boutique store where you will find some beautiful dresses, jewellery and a small seamstress’s room where she sits and creates. There is also a spa on the property. Unlimited Wifi is suitable for those who want to have a business lunch or teenagers who need something other than swimming in summer to entertain themselves
A bit off the main track look out for Jasmine road, it looks like a long pan – handle drive way but the parking is secure with a gate that stays closed and a guard.
I will definitely be returning to this gem of Bedfordview
